Throwback to the time an Australian football trick-shot video published on my local footy news page NT Football with Jackson Clark reached over 1.5 million users and received over 4700 likes, 1200 comments and 6200 shares – all organically (no paid advertisements).
The talented individual in the video is Tymunna Clements, who at the time attended a local high-school in Darwin, Northern Territory.
I reached out to Tymunna and packaged the raw clips into a one-minute video compilation before uploading it on the Facebook.
It exploded!

Social Media Marketing is a numbers game and it’s always exciting watching those numbers rise as people engage with your content.
I’ve read Jonah Berger’s book Contagious, which contains solid advice for anyone that wants to compliment their online marketing skills and grow their business online.
He lists the six principles of contagious ideas as: Social Currency, Triggers, Emotion, Public, Practical Value and Stories.
